Colorado Jazz Goes Back to School

Partnering with local & international artists, the Colorado Jazz Group serves Front Range CO schools and offers jazz education free of charge. In 2017, a partnership with the Vail Jazz Goes to School program, brought a highly successful 19 year curriculum to three area Elementary Schools (Niwot Elementary, Sacred Heart of Boulder and Ryan Elementary). Schools we’ve served: Central, Monarch, Niwot, Ryan, Sacred Heart of Boulder, University Hill, and Superior.

The Colorado Jazz Group Lions was formed to bridge the gap between students and professionals. In the Niwot area as well as Colorado Springs, this mixed generational ensemble combines performance, practice, and top quality instruction.

The support of local foundations, businesses & individuals make these opportunities possible. Sponsoring the Colorado Jazz Group places these brands in the hearts & minds of the thousands of Front Range citizens reached each year through our marketing, the Jazz on 2nd Ave festival, and educational events held throughout the year.
